adani bestowed upon itself, the duty to protect the orphan children and provide them with all means to ensure a decent future – it has transcended the barriers of cast, creed, religion, language and all that men see as differences to distinguish persons. As at date, Ladani has in its care over about 150 children, inculcating in them, the treasured values of mankind, social and legal responsibilities of good citizenry, religious and moral values, holistic education etc. It also provides meals, nutrition for good health, sports and provides counseling and other facilities for physical and mental development. Ladani caters to educational facilities to deserving children, Leader ship trainings, religious mentoring and educational classes are conducted for those who need special attention. 

Reverend Father Neville Merinus Coonghe, a missionary priest , who works for the Diocese of Chilaw in Sri Lanka is the Founder Director of LADANI. Born in September 18th 1948, he was ordained a priest in July 31 1976. Apart from theological studies he has got to his credit a degree of Bachelor of Arts, A Diploma in English and Master of Arts specializing in Buddhism. Apart from his parish work, he devotes his time to administer and run the Institute with six homes.

Also he conducts Sunday holy mass at Ladani and people from different parts of the area get benefitted through this.
