Inter – School art, poems and Composition competitions

Ladani Institute stretches its helping hand to the children who are in local schools too, for enhancing their potentials and uplifting their caliber. The competition was organized on the 01^st of July 2015 targeting its 30^th anniversary among the students of Wennappuwa and Nattandiya Educational Divisions. Nearly 500 students participated for the competition representing 19 schools. The event took place in the premises of St. John Paul II English Medium College and John Paul II Institute of Higher Education, Wennappuwa.

Feast of the Bibiladeniya Home

The Bibiladeniya Home which is named after St. Antony of Padua celebrated the feast of its patron saint on 27^th of June 2015. The festive mass was celebrated by Fr. Neville Coonghe the director of Ladani. The inspirable presence of distinguished guests, donors of the Home, Ladani children and the staff made the event a colourful one.

Death of Peter Wentscher

Peter was a German who helped the Ladani for about 10 years. He passed away on 08^th June 2015. A Holy Mass was offered for his soul on the 27^th June. We offer our deepest sympathies to his wife, all the family members and relatives. May his soul rest in peace!
